Vital Conservations create dynamic community forums for Calgarians to discuss local quality of life issues that build on the results of from the 2009 Vital Signs Report. The 2nd event in the series of 2010 Vital Conversations is on the topic of Getting Started - Working collectively to address emerging needs facing new Calgarians. . The feature film, “Urban Goddess: Jane Jacobs Reconsidered” considers the livable city; an issue that directly impacts the quality of life of Calgarians. The federal government announced significant reforms to the disbursement quota in the 2010 budget. The changes are designed to reduce administrative complexity and better enable charities to focus their time and resources on charitable activities.
